You deserve to be healthy in body and mind. Your plan covers health for you as a whole person. That includes help with your mental health or substance use. You or your child can go to any behavioral health provider in our network.


Just call 1-866-329-4701 (TTY: 711). We’re here for you from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Help in a crisis

Behavioral health emergencies: Dial 988

If you have a behavioral health emergency, call, text or chat 988. This is the new national number for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you have thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, their trained counselors can help you, 24 hours a day. 


Medical emergencies: Dial 911 

If you have a medical emergency and need help right now, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.  You can use any hospital for emergency care, even if it isn’t in our network. Just show your member ID card. 


Our behavioral health hotline

You can also call our behavioral health hotline at 1-866-329-4701 (TTY: 711). Choose 1 for behavioral health crisis. You can talk to someone 24 hours a day. And they’ll link you to the right resources.  



If you or someone in your family needs immediate help with a crisis, you can call CARES at 1-800-345-9049 (TTY: 1-866-794-0374). CARES is available 24 hours a day. They offer mobile crisis response and can send a trained behavioral health specialist to your location.

Get the help you need


Behavioral health benefits cover treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. We offer treatment options to help you feel better and support your recovery. You don’t need a primary care provider (PCP) referral. You can get care from any provider in our network.

  • Counseling 

  • Inpatient mental health care

  • Intensive outpatient treatment

  • Medication treatment for behavioral health disorders 

  • Substance use disorder treatment

If a member has a drug or alcohol problem, we can help. We cover treatment services including:

  • Tratamiento residencial.

  • Intensive outpatient care

  • Individual counseling 

  • Medication-assisted recovery

Pathways to Success program

The Pathways to Success program is a support system for kids and young adults with complex mental health needs. It offers eligible members extra services they can get at home and in their community. The program also supports families and caregivers. Services include:


  • Care coordination from local providers

  • Family peer support 

  • Counseling at home 

  • Respite services

The Pyx Health® app can help. You can connect with a friendly, non-judgmental chat robot named Pyxir. Pyxir is a good listener who offers support, jokes and links to other people and support services. The Pyx Health app is free. Its services are available 24 hours a day.
